Descote® can provide stability enhancement by protecting unstable substances from air, light, water, and reactive materials. This unique technology yields an enrobed particle that withstands the rigors of processing through blending and tabletting operations. This ensures that the final product will perform as required.

Descote® products are manufactured using the latest cGMP guidelines. Our proprietary process is solvent-free. Purity is increased since there are no trace quantities of solvent to remove. Descote® can solve many potency and/or stability problems normally experienced in traditional, complex formulations.

Descote® Applications

Nutritional
Particle Dynamics, Inc. offers a full line of taste- and odor-masked vitamins and minerals for use in chewable vitamin tablets, nutritional powder mixes, weight-loss supplements, health and nutritional bars, as well as nutritional supplements for foods (premixes).

Food and Snacks
Descote® vitamins and minerals enhance stability in numerous food applications such as vitamin premixes for fortification of foods and snacks. The Descote® matrix helps protect the vitamins and minerals from adverse food-processing conditions.

Animal Feed
Descote® vitamin products are useful in a variety of animal-feed applications to improve availability and stability. PDI offers both vitamin and mineral products required by this market.

Herbals
Descote®'s taste- and odor-masking technology applied to herbal products provides a unique, innovative alternative to herbal supplements currently on the market. (In many cases, herbal supplements have very objectionable tastes and/or odors.) Descote® can be used to control the hydroscopicity of some substances.
